I am the president of our local AS/400 User's Group. I felt that it would be nice if IBM could provide a speaker for our monthly meeting to preach the gospel on the newest announcements. I have spent an hour on the phone, speaking to IBMers all over the United States, and nobody seems to be interested. The few that were interested did not know who to contact. My marketing rep is in Atlanta, GA, so they are not of much help (Even if they would return calls!). I realize Houston, TX is a tiny town, but you would think that I would not have to BEG, and spend large amounts of billable time, just to let IBM have a fantastic forum. Go Figure.
