Another wrinkle. You could use the method of distributing the source,
either separately or in the body of a SBMNETJOB command. The distribution
would include commands to create the various objects, or a list of objects
and the commands to be executed, assuming QCMDEXC at the remote site, or
something like it. This could allow for source code that is optimized per
release, or at least is compiled natively for a particular release.
