I have a shareware tool that will allow you to do this. It also lets you
omit lines from the spooled file (ie. headings) before transfer via
shared folders.

It can be found at:
http://prairie.lakes.com/~bvstone/as400sw.html

It's called PRTRNG. It also allows you to print page ranges to a TCPIP
printer or save the spooled file to a physical file.

Subject: Monarch - Please help me find it.

I have a client that is in need of a product that will take an AS/400
spooled file and convert it so that he can use it in his spreadsheet. I
know that Monarch can do this, but for the life of me I cannot remember
anything else about it. Does anyone have a phone number for me to call?

And if anyone knows of another product that works the same way, please
pass it on!

tia,
john
