     Yes, you can update the record within the trigger program. When you
     use ADDPFTRG to add trigger to the file, there is an option for
     allowing repeated change within the trigger program, use *yes for that
     option.

I have a question about Trigger Programs. If I have a trigger on a file
and the trigger program is executed, can I update the current record
that was added or updated? I have been told that this can't be done.

Your help in this matter is needed!!!
