Well, I uninstalled CA400 and the rebooting stopped.

Since I still need to get into the system at work, I found a SHAREWARE
TN5250 client at http://www.mochasoft.dk.  It's priced quite reasonably
($25), so I might just register it.

It seems to work reasonably... not the most configurable program in the
world, but it should do the job.
