What kind of wiring are you using,  Twinax or Twisted Pair w/ Baluns?  If
twinax, are all PCs on the same line?

We have had problems in the past with a short in a twinax chain that only
showed its ugly face when the humidity & temperature was just right.  We'd
have a loss of connection on the chain once every couple months or so.  This
may be a similar situation.
