  • Subject: V2R3 to V4R1 with a twist

I have a customer who is on Version 2R3. They are buying a new system
which will ship with V4R1. I have concerns and questions about this. I
believe we will do my favorite, a side by side.

However, the customer believed they were going to be upgrading to V3R7, so
they bought V3R2 before the price change. Now, all of IBM's records show
that they are on V3, so I can't tell if the upgrade process is really
going to be okay or not.

Any advice?
