First thought - does your V3R2 machine have current PTF cum level - I
had seen PTF's for problems restoring from V3R7 saves ?
(Specifically, look for MF15349 (on cum pkg C7126320) - Although this
may relate to problems restoring files, not programs.

Oh - the tape drive on the V3R2 machine is an IBM drive isn't it ?


(I presume you did use TGTRLS parm for V3R2 on the SAVLIB, not just the
CRTRPGPGM, CRTCBLPGM ?).
