Gary,

Most of the temporary fixes introduced by PTF's that involve setting
values in data areas are designed directly into commands/programs in
future releases and the need for the data are goes away (ergo the name
Program Temporary Fix). The 'fix' then usually becomes a new parm on a
command, or a new system value, etc.

All of these changes SHOULD be detailed in the 'Memo To Users' that is
shipped with new software release, which should ALWAYS be reviewed
carefully for potential impact to your applications before you upgrade.
