There is a version 2 beta at the site I cited in another message:
http://www.networking.ibm.com/hex/hexprod_en.html

Here's a list of enhancements:

- Improved TN3270 emulation
- TN5250 emulation
- VT52,VT100,VT220 emulation
- CICS gateway applet
- Persistent user configuration
- Error logging/tracing
- File transfer
- Cut&Paste and Print Screen
- TELNET redirection
- HOD host access class library (Java?)
- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) support

Just tried it. Function keys appear to be live, keyboard can be mapped!!!

Wow! All we have to do is ask, right?
