OK, since you just switched to the AS/400, you're to be forgiven.  However,
we have had several postings on this lately.  First, you cannot use the
escape codes (unless you have the proper box attached) -- you must use the
equivalent ASCII character strings.  You must also use the keywords TRNSPY
CVTDTA on the record format that is supposed to perform the PCL function.
 Your device must also be set up to perform Host Print Transform (*YES), and
it doesn't hurt to have the Manufacturer Type and Model set to what the
printer actually is.  One exception to the latter is that if you are using
JetDirect boxes to attach the printers, they must be configured as a 3812.
