Anyone know where an Auto Call Unit for a S/36 can be found. It is no
longer made by IBM, Motorola, etc. This is a unit that works *with* a
modem and is used for the dialing out then passes off the connection to
the modem. The S/36 cannot dial through a standard modem (unless someone
can prove me wrong - please!). A second comm port is taken up by the unit
with a special cable. The ACU is connected to the modem and then passes
off the connection to the modem attached to its own comm port.

Perhaps someone knows how to program the dialing via a normal modem (i.e.
w/o ACU) from within an RPGII program. Any help would be appreciated,
examples especially as well as pitfals (return codes to watch for, etc.).

Thanks,
