We have a need here to be able to perform manipulations on interactive jobs based on what physical device the user is sitting at. Used to be (w/SNA) we could look at the device ID. However, since we now connect via TCP/IP, a given session gets whatever virtual device happens to be available and it's not always the same number. We're wondering if anybody knows how to determine the IP address of a given session/job - since the IP address can be mapped to a physical device, we could get to where we want to go using that.
