That was exactly what I meant!
The Synon/2E  Change Management APIs, which interface with Implementer, are 
sound and well designed, I believe. Some of these APIs are only available 
to you if you have purchased Synon/CM, (or at least this was the situation 
two years ago). With Synon/CM, to achieve the flexibility you aspire to (as 
a good end-user), you have to do some considerable programming to these 
APIs, (as I had to last year).
I have not had a chance to evaluate Aldon's offering, but I would imagine 
they too used the APIs, and maybe did a better job at integrating with 
their tool.
