        When he FTP's the files, tell him to use the other IP address.  I'm not
really sure what would prevent it from being that easy unless there are
physical topology constraints.  I've got two Ethernet and one Token Ring
cards and all are IP.  My default route is one of the Ethernet cards but
I broke down my routing table specifing the next hop for each segment. 
This way, TR IP traffic coming in does not go back out Ethernet and then
get routed back to TR via the router.  This way, it comes in and goes
out the same.  A bit more than simple but once you set up your routing
entries you leave it alone.
