 It's that kind of thinking that discourages corporations from going (or
sticking) with the /400.  We don't want to be nickled and dimed.  This is
one of the things that is traditionally pointed out by the midrange
loyalists.  CL and DDS are too crucial to be unbundled.  

 Example: I don't have any statistics, but I'm guessing that since AFP was
unbundled it's been in a steady decline.  I predict a slow but sure death
that will lose them a lot more $$$ than if they hadn't charged for it.  AFP
capable printers cost considerably more than their non-AFP and PCL
counterparts.  They will lose that revenue, the AFPU revenue and will still
have to support the product for a while.

 There must be some other way of convincing IBM that these improvements are
a good overall strategy.
