  • Subject: Find number of parms for a CL or passall

Folks:

Does anyone know of a way to determine the actual number, and the type,
of parmameters for a program? Specificly an IBM program?

I'm trying to write a frontend for RUNQRY, but have not been able to get
the number, and type, of the parmameters correct.

Another option would be to have the program simply pass ALL parameters
from the running program to a called program (QSYS/QQUDA). I know I
could do this on the S/36 with the *ALL parameter... but haven't found
anything on the '400 that's similar.

Thanks!

david
