Paul, I've had the same problems with AT&T BEFORE the breakup!  Now, THAT
dates me...

In some areas they do.  In others, AT&T buys from THEM.  I absolutely HATE
using my Sprint card from certain areas.  As soon as the 800 number connects,
it sounds like the dial tone is passing through barbed wire -- hardly
"pin-drop" quality...
