We are having two AS/400 Model 9406-500 in our office running V3R6.
Our live machine started to log Licensed Internal Code failure
messages in the problem log. The results were terrible, like
printing via TCP/IP was stopped, System jobs ending, Performance
degradation, System Hang etc. We took advice from IBM and
they replace the LIC and install the operating system from scratch
without affecting the data. The system was back to normal and
working perfectly. Again after two weeks LIC failures are reported
in the problem log. The system is at latest PTF level C7051360

Can any body advise what is going on. An interesting point is
that all LIC failures have occured when system was being powered
down.

Regards
Sadiqain
