This can happen when profiles are restored, and the rstaut is run. I know I
have knocked myself out several time. You think I would learn.

On the from panel set the IPL to manual then IPL the machine. When the DST
screen comes up, one of the sub options is reset system password next time.
This resets the password to the origional shipped password. usually QSECOFR.

There is a different option to work with dst profiles. This is different
from the system default password.


IPL the computer the rest of the way, Then change QSECOFR password to what
you want.

Now change the IPL mode to normal.
