You can also use AS400 Operations Navigator if you have IBM Client Access
loaded but this is a client side operation...

CPYSPLF xxx zzz
then FTP zzz down to your PC.

The problem you are having is most likely that you
insist on using a proportional FONT in the PC document
while the spool file assumes a fixed-width font.

No solution (that I know of) to that.
