Brandon-

Assuming this product and its data doesn't reside in the same database as XA's data you will have to create a new data source which points to the database you are using. I have successfully tested out JDBC connection to MS SQL 2008 R2 and PostgreSQL databases. Once those are set up, just specify that data source when you create the business object.

If you need help, or specific JDBC connection syntax, let me know.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Integrate XA with Other Products

Hi,

I am currently using Infor XA and would like to integrate another product with it. I am in a production environment and have information coming from the floor using another program. However, this program is not connected to Infor. Is there a way I could point this information into someplace either on the server or somewhere in Infor that will have the information "dumped" and updated to be used in Infor. Any help would be appreciated, even if I'm crazy and this can't be done.

Brandon
