I would look at release 9.1, because it will be supported for 7 years as
of the 1st quarter this year, I think, any ways 2012

If it takes you 1 1/2 to get there you know it will be supported for
another 5 1/2 years, after you're done.

Just a thought

Subject: [MAPICS-L] which release should we goto.

To all

I have a simple question that I think does not have a simple answer. We
are a small it department of 2, we need to upgrade our current release
of MAPICS, the question is which release should we go to? We have a
large investment in KBC that we do not want to lose at this time. we
are currently at release 6. Does anyone have any suggestions on which
release we should go to? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
