Use option 10 on menu AMZM30 to change a system control record. The
record key you want is SLACTL. You should change position 30 to either an

N or an A. You will key in the hex (over / under). For an A - key C1.
For an N key D5. When you have made the change, user F23 to update the
record.
As you probably know, SYSCTL is not externally described. I find the
record I want to change by printing the SYSCTL record layout from menu
AMZM3D option 5. Then, in this case, I displayed the spool file and
searched for NUMERIC. Found it right away.

hi list!

I want to change the IM question I023: DO YOU WANT ALPHABETIC OR NUMERIC
SUBDIVISIONS? without running the Install/Tailor Applications option in
CAS. This is a test environment so we are OK to do it like this.

In your trigger program you should be able to use the program
information data structure to get the user ID.
