I got a similar question regarding auto message response recently, and here is
the response from Barbara Morris:

You could change the job to automatically reply with the default reply
to all inquiry messages (CHGJOB INQMSGRPY(*DFT)), or you could use the
system reply list (ADDRPYLE and CHGJOB INQMSGRPY(*SYSRPYL)) to
automatically respond to a particular inquiry message.

Regarding scheduling a job, SBMJOB has options to let you schedule a job. You
need to hot F9 or F10 to see additional options.

Hope it helps.

Subject: scheduling a job

Is there a way to schedule a job and set something to auto answer a
message is one happens. I'm trying to have the inv audit program run as
a scheduled job but sometimes it will stop with a message and wait for a
response.

Anybody else have issues getting this to auto run each night?
