RE: MAPICS save




We don't want to use the mapics backup because we are a 24/7 shop.  Only
time we do not have access to MAPICS is during some nightly processing.
Part of that nightly processing is running the mapics backup.  We want the
system down for a minimal amount of time, so we have the mapics backup
included in this nightly processing.  We have a product from Help Systems
called Replay, which allows us to run the MAPICS backup from a CL.
Sometimes something during the MAPICS backup does not go well & the job
hangs.   We think it would be much easier if we could just backup the
libraries using savlib commands & then do whatever processing MAPICS does
besides backing up the files.
