We use the Mapics temporary badge field to store the employee BADGE
number because it is different from their EMPNO. We have a LF that is
keyed by BADGE and we hit that file to do the conversion from BADGE to
EMPNO prior to sending the transaction up to PM&C.

"Peter,
I am pretty sure the EMPMSX file only comes with P/R. It was one of the
enhancements Mapics made to P/R. I only have PM&C at this acct and no
EMPMSX. I believe the TMPBG is if an emp loses his regular badge and you
assign a Temp with a expiration date also. I have really never used this
feature. Pete Olshavsky"

The thing is that we have several MAPICS environments for different
locations here and some of them has the file. The applications
installed for this environment for example are:

Capacity Requirements Planning
Cross Application Support >>
Customer Order Management >>
Electronic Commerce >>
International Financial Management >>
Inventory Management >>
Material Requirements Planning >>
Product Data Management >>
Production Control and Costing >>
Production Monitoring and Control >>
Purchasing >>

How can this be then?
