  Just another thought. I see Bob has you setting up all the proper PO(s)
and MO.
  As far as tracking Inv.  You could set up a new WH, for items that have
outside processing, you'll want to 'IP' the original raw part to the MO,
(part of WIP). Then perform an 'RC' to the disignated vendor WH, either
when you ship or when the 'first' vendor ships matl to the 2nd
vendor...you'll have to be notified of this shipment via some paperwork.
After you receive the finished part, perform the normal 'RM' and 'IS' the
raw part from the vendor WH.  I seen some mapics users set up one 'vnd'
WH and use locations for specific vendors.
