    A couple of questions. I assume you are talking about rhe IMHIST file.
Are you using the vanilla mapics transaction entry screen. And are you set
up for immediate update.

Also are you using the reason and refno fields. If not can you use these
If you are using them, then you could write a trigger pgm on imhist when a
record is added it would update the user id.
The transaction from pm&c has the badge#

I have a question I hope somone on this forum can answer.  Does anyone know
an easy way to change the data being entered into the Workstation ID field
on IM transactions, to reflect the User ID data instead?  The Workstation ID
doesn't reflect who actually created the transaction as Workstation ID's
change everytime a user signs onto the system.  We have transactions being
entered both through IM and PMC and this has become a big issue.  I'm hoping
one or more of you have run into this same issue and found a way to resolve
it without it being a huge headache.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
