Hence the "interspecies breeding" part of the project. My end users WANT it
to be a Word document, so it will look "pretty." It looks like its somewhat
straight forward to print out of an AS/400 text document!

Does it HAVE to be a Word document? We trigger a lot of stuff out of user
exits, in sequence, but we don't use Word documents - we generate them out
of the AS/400.

To all -

I've been charged with an "inter-species breeding project."

What we want to happen is to use the COM user exit UMBSHP3R (Exit: Pack
List) to automatically print a Word document when an item or items on a
packing list meet certain criteria. It would be ideal if they would print
on
the same printer, one after the other, so the shipping clerk could pick up
the whole stack and slap it into the packing list "baggie" without having
to
assemble anything.

Anyone else doing this? Thanks - Joan
