Using straight TN5250 in a terminal window. Xt5250 can be used, but I need
to tweak it as the default font settings are incredibly small!

As I said in my original email the "error reset" key is normally "control"
but it's not working on this basic tn5250 session.

Which front-end to TN5250 are you using? Curses? Slang? xt5250? x5250?
gtk-5250?

This "error" is obviously an issue that you don't know where the "error
reset" key is on your keyboard, but I can't assist unless I understand
your environment.

Trying to use TN5250 here on a Debian box. It works fine until we get an
error message and then it locks up the whole session and we have to close
the window and restart it. Unfortunately that is a non-starter.

This is not a "critical" error... just a warning, in this case, it's
telling
us that we haven't entered any roll numbers for the carpet and we should
enter some roll numbers... but we can't get that far because it's blocking
us. On the official Windows 5250 client, we just hit "ctl" and it goes
away
and we can proceed. However, that doesn't work for us with TN5250.
