Someone on midrange-l pointed out a recent article on the AS/400 in
Dr. Dobb's Journal.

I figured some people here might be interested in the fact that they
provide a link to tn5250 at the bottom, stating, "The open source
tn5250 terminal emulator works well on all Linux and BSD systems and
on Win32 and even DOS. Aside from an account, it's all you'll need to
log on."

Although, are the Windows and DOS ports still working?  I've never
used them, but I seem to recall them being abandoned until the port to
GTK was complete.
