You might want to note a little trick about making tracefiles smaller:

grep "^@" tracefile > smaller-tracefile

... will produce a smaller tracefile which doesn't contain any debugging
information, just the keys pressed and the data sent to the client from the
AS/400.

1. I'm sure gonna add that trick, and the "How to use tn5250 with X ?" FAQ (how
many times did they ask you ???)

2. My grandfather (a Ukrainian peasant immigrate) used to say (translation not
garanteed):
"It's better to turn off the tap than to wipe the floor"

In that sense, Could you introduce a "--non-debug-trace" option in tn5250 ?
