jconsole is mentioned in SG24-7353 "IBM Technology for Java Virtual
Machine in IBM i5/OS".
I think it is included on V6 machines in J2SE 5.0 and 6.0.

I have not tried to use it though...

I located at V6R1 machine and poked at it. Unfortunately when selecting the 32 bit j9 version and running jconsole on the machine itself the jconsole wndow does not show the jconsole process itself, so I don't think it works. Pity.
