calling java-confirmation-window from RPG

Hi,

One of our RPG-programmers just returned from a java course and has now 
the following question: 
Is it possible to call a confirmation-window program, written in java, 
from RPG ?  The intention is to make some little java gui-programs to do 
some simple interactions with users (Yes - No - Cancel, ...)  which can be 
called from within RPG.

I doubt it can be done because of the character-based sessions of the 
interactive RPG programs but one never know....
