Ivan,

To get two instances running, I went througth conf/server.xml,
bin/catalina.sh,bin/catalina.sh, and all the context files in
conf/Catalina/localhost/.
The only things that needed changing were ports and catalina home
directories.
As I mentioned in the previous post, you won't find port 8005 in server.xml
for tomat 5, so you'll need to specify your alternative port in the
<Server> tag.

For port numbers I just added 1 to to the standard issue port numbers.

Regards,
John

I have to do the same thing as John describes... run
two instances of Tomcat on an iSeries server. One
instance of Tomcat will be 4.30 and the other will be
5.25. We have one app that is Production ready and
another that is in early design/development phase, so
we need to have two separate servers running.

What do I need to do to acomplish this? Has anyone
done it? Advice needed urgently...

Thanks,
Ivan
