I don't use IBM's support for Tomcat so I can't say exactly what is
causing the problem but their tool must be updating/creating a servlet
entry in the web.xml file found in your application's WEB-INF directory.
It also seems that they would distribute your class file to
WEB-INF/classes/com/capfac/user. I would check those two areas to make
sure they look right.

I am defining a servlet in tomcat on v5r1 in the IBM web

My problem is, whenever I define the servlet as a package, eg,
com.capfac.user.UserServlet I get a 404 web page. If I remove the
package from the servlet it works fine.
Everything works fine in websphere, we are only having problems with
Tomcat.
Is there some special process needed when handling packages?
