  If I have not completly lost my memory, DB2/400 and
the other platforms it is available on all support the
current JDBC 2.0 standard - This means that they are
pretty much the same overall. To support this I have
used JDBC for both as/400 and pc (DB2) and have never
had to change a line of code.
