Title: RE: QJVACMDSRV JOBLOG

Thanks Thorbjorn but I have that parm set that way and it still generated file QPJOBLOG for jobname QJVACMDSRV. Still being a newbie to java I am not quite sure how to override stdout from within a CL program. Would this also suppress a QPRINT file that is generated that says java program complete?

I do appreciate this your help and this list.

Thanks
Rich

Hi Rich,

Have you tried to specify CHKPATH(*IGNORE) on the RUNJVA command? That
was the parameter I couldn't remember in my previous mail. It should do
the trick for you. Another possiblity are to override stdout to a file.
Then no spool file will be generated, if it is not only the warnings you
want to eliminate.

Thorbjørn
