As you pointed out, the 8.0.2 Linux download specifies the x86 platform.

My initial goal was to run a couple virtual Windows servers on the Linux
partition on the i so I could evaluate Traveler and the BES. But VMWare
server does not run on Power Linux.

IBM does have a product call PowerVM Lx86, which will run on Power Linux
distributions and allow x86 software to run, but the install process is a
little daunting for this Linux newb. Something about loading Power
Linux(which I've done and is up and running), then loading PowerVM then
loading the x86 version of SLES.

Yes, I agree, I don't see it there on Passport Advantage either. I even
looked in previous versions.
