Gerald,

After the 5.3 upgrade, your AS/400 started the LDAP service through the
OS/400. You either need to stop the service on the AS/400 or stop the
service in Domino.

Do you use the LDAP service?

LDAP error message after upgrade to V5R3

We upgraded to V5R3 last Saturday and since then I've been seeing the
following error in the notes misc log:

"LDAP Server: Listener failure, TCP/IP port number [389] is already in use

on this system. Suspending listen task for 20 seconds due to network
errors."

Does anyone know why this is happening and how it can be corrected?

I'm running Domino R6.5.1, and via wrkactjob I can see that the LDAP task
is active.

Regards, Jerry
