Y'all,
You can stop the command shell from asking to close by going to the command shell and clicking the Options button and checking the Quiet Exit option. You are right when I do a compile the command window becomes active.

I've always had CODE ask me whether I really want to close the command shell when shutting down. I don't know and have not tried to find out whether this can be stopped.

But the original post seemed to be a problem that the command shell became the active window after a compile. Different problem, maybe?

Bill,

I had a similar problem.... I usually compile using PDM. One time I used the prompt through CODE to compile and then the Command Shell kept popping every time I tried to shut down CODE. If I remember correctly, the way I stopped this behavior was to delete the file C:\wdsc\system\command shell.

I started having Code act wired after I do a compile it switches to the command shell. I can't fine any where to control this, i'm not sure why it started doing it. It never use to. I have X-seup and have set it to both active windows settings but that didn't make any difference. Thanks for any help Bill
