Don:

What I think is happening is the parser is flagging underscores as errors. I don't know how to change the parser but you could change the attributes applied to errors.

Click on 'Options' 'Profiles' 'Language Load' to open the file bas.lxl.

Change the error attributes to something like blue/yellow.

Save your modified version as bas.lxu. Now both profiles will be loaded when you open a .bas document. Your modified version will override the original.

Good Luck!

John

Thanks but, I want Code/400 to parse the basic source code using the .BAS
profile. The problem is that the underscore character is not parsed
correctly. The string "CONSTANT_MATH_PI" is displayed with the underscore as
a different color (red background, white foreground). I would like to get
the "red blocks" out of the constant names!

Don:

After the file is loaded, you can change the profile being used by clicking
on 'Options' 'Change Profile' and then selecting the profile you want to use

from the drop down list. The profile 'dft' does not have any token
highlighting.

Review the help from the Change Profile form you will find additional
information on modifying the profiles.
