Aah, yes &X is not supported in our RSE Compile commands,
and it should be! Good catch. We'll open a defect to have this
fixed.

 In the meantime, you will have to use a user-defined action
instead of a compile command, as these do support &X
(right click on the iSeries Objects subsystem and select
Work With -> User Actions). Unfortunately, in V4.0 you won't
get error feedback though if you do this... but in V5.0 you will.
Thus, unfortunately, I think you'll have to wait a month.
