Hi Diane

Probably not what you want to hear, but anyway ...

I've just copied/pasted your PDM option onto my system and it fires up
Code with the correct member just fine!

We are running WDSC 4.0 with SP2 on XP, over OS/400 V4.5, just about to
give it a go on our V5.1 system. I let you know the results.

If I can help with any settings or anything else, let me know.

Regards

Andy

|Ric,
|I have the same settings except for QCODE is QDEVTOOLS. The PDM option
|worked before the upgrade to "WebSphere Development Studio Client for
|iSeries V4.0." I've double checked my password and it should be
correct.
|I've
|searched the internet and not coming up with any answers?? I guess my
|solution for now is to use the FILE/OPEN from the Code editor--but the
PDM
|option sure can spoil a person.........
|
|Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this problem.

|I use the following on my system, which is defined as "QIO400":
|
|For browse,
|CALL PGM(QCODE/EVFCFDBK) PARM('37' 'Y' 'QIO400' '<LOCAL> CODEBRWS "<>
|&L/&F(&N)"')
|
|For edit,
|CALL PGM(QCODE/EVFCFDBK) PARM('37' 'Y' 'QIO400' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT "<>
|&L/&F(&N)"')
|
|Good Luck,

|I have installed WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries V4.0
on a
|Windows 2000 pc and all went well; now I am trying to open the ILE
|programs from the PDM menu and keep getting the following error:
|"Connection from system 'Workgroup' has been ended by the Daemon. The
|password is incorrect."
|
|If I open CODE and then select FILE/OPEN to get my source all works
fine,
|it is just invoking the program from the PDM menu that I am having
|problems. Below is the "user-defined" pdm statement.
|CALL PGM(QDEVTOOLS/EVFCFDBK) PARM('37' 'Y' 'QMMA400' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT
|"<QMMA400>&L/&F(&N)"')
|
|Any thoughts would be appreciated.
