I have now placed an "RPG Smart Enter Toggle" macro on the midrange.com
FAQ. This is under Programming -> CODE/400 -> ReXX Macros. You use this
to allow Ctrl-Enter in RPG or RPGLE to write a line either as a smart enter
line or a non-smart enter line. It depends on what you set as the default
in Options -> Language Editing -> Smart Enter. After the line is written,
the RPG smart enter setting toggles back to the way it was before you
pressed Ctrl-Enter. Currently, Ctrl-Enter is mapped to the same function
as Enter so this macro integrates well with the Ctrl-Enter. This is useful
when you know you don't want the same type line as before or vice versa.
You would normally use the Enter key with whatever default you set for
Smart Enter and then use the Ctrl-Enter for the exceptions. Just add 'set
action.c-enter MACRO RPG_Smart_Enter_Toggle' to your rpg400.lxu and
rpgle400.lxu in your user-specified macros directory. Make sure Extras on
C:\..... points to your macro directory. There are instructions for this
on the FAQ.

Thanks,
Craig Strong
