Hi Dave,

You don't mention what operating system you are running and whether or not
you are running an Anti-Virus tool.
I have heard of a similar problem a couple of years ago where the version
of McAffee Anti-Virus was out of date.
Upgrading McAffee seemed to fix the problem.
You might also want to try selecting the menu option: Options->Quiet Exit
when you are in Command Shell and see if that improves things.

Hope this helps!

So, that didn't work too well.

Hello All,

Ever since I loaded CODE on a new PC I have been getting the following
message when I try to close the command window. First, I get the message
that I have always seen -- that a program may be running. When I say close
anyway, this message pops up.

 <<...OLE_Obj...>>
the message said "The command shell process will not shut down. Do you
want to close the session without waiting?" Then buttons for "YES" or "NO"

Sorry about the lack of picture.

It seems to hinder my shutdown process as well.

Does anyone have any idea why?

Thanks in Advance,

Dave Boettcher
