This too has been about a month. Anyone know about plans for process
options on the Compare like the CMPPFM?

options on Compare

Can we get the process options on the CODE/400 Compare like the CMPPFM?
This would REALLY help because we are going to be doing massive compares
soon and we are already starting. We only want to compare actual code. In
some cases the only difference between the source members is in the
comments. The only way I see to do this is to use (ex: CMPPFM ..... OPTION
(*OMTRPGLECMT *RPGLESRCCOL)). I think this does not cut the comments from
81-100 in RPGLE, for example, but at least we would not compare the comment
lines, blank lines, and columns 1-5. Maybe there could even be a view we
could select that would exclude comment lines (maybe include free-form
comments) and blank lines.

Please let me know thoughts on this, so I can send an accurate problem
request to IBM.

Thanks,
Craig Strong
