Is this an IFS file? Did you check 'Source stream file' on your compile
option dialog?

Best regards,

I'm trying to compile a simple C++ application that contains only a
reference to STDIO.h. It results in:

/QIBM/Proddata/ilecppn/include/v4r4m0/wctype.h(50:12) :error GDW3008
Source file <iconv.h> cannot be opened.
/QIBM/Proddata/ilecppn/include/v4r4m0/ifs.h(40:15) :error GDW3008 Source
file <qp0lstdi.h> cannot be opened.
/QIBM/Proddata/ilecppn/include/v4r4m0/stdio.h(65:21) :error GDW3013
Identifier "Qp0lRenameKeep" is undefined.

None of these files are present on this system.

When the same program is compiled with *NOIFS, it compiles and runs
successfully, but cannot
access the IFS (duh!).

The iconv()--Code conversion API is described in the InfoCenter, but does
not seem to exist elsewhere.
There are examples at
http://www.as400.ibm.com/developer/factory/porting/tips.html
that reference qp0lstdi.h.

Where can I find these include files, and what else do I need to get to
create C++ apps that can access
IFS correctly?

Thanks - JF
