Greetings,

Another way I make CPO faster is to set the options NOT to display the list
when I click on an item. Then when I really want it to see the list, I
right click on the filter, and select the option I want. For example when
I have a filter that selects all source file members that start with
"AA001*" (company enforced naming convention to put all related programs,
display and or printer file together) I can drill down to a specific file
level before asking CPO to get the list. Since it does not create the list
until tell it to, I don't have to wait for each list to finish before
drilling down further. Filters can span libraries that are named alike,
and we name our libraries "NNNtest" or "NNNlib" where "NNN" is the system code.

I would like to have IBM enhance CPO by having the filter activated by
double clicking on it, or by pressing enter when navigating by keyboard.

HTH

Jim
